INCLUSIONS & IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Rates are in Australian Dollars and based on a per night booking.
  • Children less than 2 years stay for free in own cot. Children 3 to 12 years at child rate, children older at adult rate.
  • Rate entitles you to Trail Reserve access with use of private walking trails, waterfalls, creeks and swimming holes.
  • Please contact us for information regarding larger group requirements; or for exclusive private bookings of the Reserve’s accommodation and function venues.

Deposit & Booking Policy

We do require credit card details to secure the booking.

Cancellation Policy

Within 14 days – 100% cancellation & admin fee, unless the period can be resold.

Check-In Policy

Check in time after 2pm. Contact us for late arrivals outside normal hours (after 4pm). Please stop by the office / reception upon arrival to get orientation, pick up your gate access key and be given final directions. If unattended the key will be left with instructions. Reserve staff will be up to meet you either that afternoon or the next morning.

Check-Out Policy

Check-out is 10am. Same day trail access is available for all guests after check-out; your luggage can be stored whilst you continue to explore the reserve. A late check-out may be available, please check with the reserve reception the evening prior to your departure.

Child Policy

Children are welcome but must be supervised if accessing loft bunk areas and while on the Reserve at all times. Children less than 2 years stay for free in own cot. Children 3 to 12 years at child rate, children older at adult rate.

100% cancellation fee

Breakage Policy

Guests are liable for all breakages and damages unless caused by normal ‘wear and tear’. Any extra cleaning and associated (replacement etc) costs to be debited against your credit card. Noah’s reserves the right to debit your credit card or charge you the amount to replace or repair the item. You hereby authorise Noah’s to charge all moneys due to your credit card.

Evacuation & Closure Policy

In the event of adverse weather conditions (e.g. Wet season, major flooding, cyclones, damage from tree falls), Noah’s at its discretion may close the Reserve, all or in part; and will attempt to contact affected booked guests before arrival and or assist in finding alternate accommodation for affected guests already on the Reserve.

Reserve trail closure is to protect the safety of Guests and the natural environment. If forest stay accommodation is closed, Noah’s will refund the night’s fee under these strict conditions and only to the affected guests.

Environmental Policy

At Noah’s we aim for minimal impact to this world heritage area and expect all guests to do the same. Rubbish bins are provided at the huts along with recycling and if required collection during stay can be arranged via reception.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in huts. Please remember also to pick up butts and any litter during hikes.

Pets Policy

No pets are allowed in huts or to roam free on the Reserve. This aims to minimise impact to local fauna. Please also refrain from feeding animals, cassowaries especially, can become dangerous with feeding. 

Security Policy

Guests are responsible for any loss of their own contents or possessions from the property during their stay. Vehicles should be locked when unattended. Gates can also can be locked if away for the day.

Guests should be aware of the open style accommodation and potential for local fauna to visit, especially overnight, please remember to tidy up and store all food stuffs appropriately. 

Report any unusual or suspicious activity to reception.

Privacy Policy

We endeavour to keep all personal information private along with our aim of providing a private and exclusive experience during your stay on the Reserve. We may use third-party service providers to process your personal information on our behalf for the purposes of bookings. We may share limited information about you with these third parties so as they can contact you (for example: to obtain post stay reviews about your experience).

Restricted Access Areas

In order to maintain function venue privacy and exclusivity, some trail and swimming hole access can be at times restricted. We ask that you respect closure times so as all guests get the same private and exclusive experience. Further information can be obtained via the Reserve reception.

Wilderness Policy

It is acknowledged that the property is in a wilderness area and that guests should at all times exercise caution whilst on the Reserve and while holidaying in the area. The Guests hereby indemnify Noah’s against all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses, which the Guest may sustain or incur or for which Noah’s may become liable as a result of the Guest staying or walking on the property.

Candles & Open Fires

We do not allow the use of candles or camping burners within huts due to the risk of fire. An outside open fire pit is available for responsible use. This is great for camp ovens or cooking potatoes or marshmallows. Please limit the size of your fire and the amount burned; plus ensure it is extinguished when not supervised. Mosquito coils can be used but only in suitable clay pot containers provided. Any damage or cost of repairs to furniture or infrastructure will be billed to the guest.

Incident or Hazard Reporting

We ask that you assist us by immediately report any incident, any observed trail hazards and or maintenance needs to reception.

Travel Insurance

Guests are advised to have travel insurance. Any form of emergency medical evacuation from remote areas can be very costly and is charged direct to evacuees.

Information Manual

I/We (including all guests) agree to read and abide by all instructions relating to Guest access onto the Noah Creek Rainforest Reserve as set out in the Guest Information Manual which is located in the huts upon arrival.
